Where was the mother in all of this? If my child was autistic n went to jail. Im 100% going to be right therem wtf.

Once you get arrested, they don't make any accommodations for anyone. If someone starts causing the slightest disturbance, they get put in restraints. If they need medication, they might get it if they call a nurse over, but they won't even do that unless the person is having a heart attack or a stroke or something. They basically assume everyone is faking it until it's life threatening.

That broke my heart watching him stimming like that… when his mom mentioned how he hated being restrained even as a baby in his car seat, that made me tear up because she felt everything her son felt watching his last moments. I pray she doesn’t hold that guilt on her heart. Her eyes look so empty😢 that was her baby no matter how old he had gotten.

This is so sad. My heart goes out to his mother and family. I hope justice gets to happen for this young man, this precious human being!!!!

It seems like in his state of extreme panic and anxiety he would have been taken to the hospital immediately or at least transferred to the infirmary. If they had so much information about a “wellness check”, then how did they not know of his Autism? My heart breaks for his family.

How awful does a society system and police department could be. Treat them like unworthy. Does a government want this to happen or does it simply follow from a different rule from another country which is not the right solution for this kind of problem?
